My adventure first started at 6:30 A.M. The plan was to get up at 6:30. Take a shower and be on the boat by 8. Well my brother was late picking me up so we didn’t get on the boat until 10. We got the boat all settled. We lowered it into the river. We took a little ride for about 10 minutes and then stopped to fish. I quickly threw the anchor over board in hopes that we would not drift away. So about 10 minutes go by and my brother, his girlfriend and I start to fish. A HUGE boat goes by and causes the boat to go crazy. All of our fishing lines get all tangled and my brother flips out. So we have to reel in the fish. We tried to unanchor the boat. We tried for 20 minutes to get it up but did not succeed. Then, accidentally Beth, my brother's girlfriend, knocks over this "poker thing" that is used to dock the boat etc etc. Anyways we made the decision to cut the anchor and leave it and go after the poker, since there was no way of saving the anchor. So we get the poker and soon realize we are out of gas. We quickly go and get our gas. Then we have a nice lunch. As my brother is driving and driving the boat he starts to choke. He coughs and coughs and Beth and I are like RICH RICH ARE YOU OK.Then he is like ah I am fine and then he chugs some water and spits over board. We then take a ride down the river towards Rockyhill. The ride is freezing cold and all I am wearing is shorts and a T-shirt. We then find a great place to fish. So we start to fish and we shut off the boat and "drift fish" since we don’t have an anchor anymore. Then anymore. Then we go to turn the boat back on and it wont start. We try everything to make it work. But it won’t start. So Beth calls the boat place to see what we can do to fix it. They basically tell us we are screwed. Anyways, we try to flag down people to help us, as we slowly drift to shore. We land on this metal thing near the edge. I have to keep the boat from hitting it so I lean over the boat to hold onto it. 2 hours pass and my arms are killing and still not one of the 10 boats that passed us would stop to help us. Rich gets mad because all the fishing poles are laying on the ground of the boat so he swings the pole, and the hook gets stuck in Beth’s finger. She screams and cries and then we all start to get frantic. Well, after about 5 minutes Rich saves her and she turns out to be OK. So then we sat there, holding onto the boat for like another hour. This boat of foreigners stops and tows us to the nearest dock. That ride takes about 45 minutes. We tie the boat to a tree when we get docked because this dock is not actually a dock its a sand bar type a thing. So as we tie this boat to a tree an extremely nice man comes and tries to fix our engine. Well, the battery of the boat dies and he fixes that too. So we are like all excited because well our boat is all fixed so we thank the man and go on our way. About 5 minutes later, the boat dies. He paddles the boat back to the sand bar pit thing and ties it to the tree. We get out of the boat and take a little break since we are all in bad moods by this point. Then we start to talk and we start laughing about how much worse the day could possible get. AS YOU WILL SEE THE DAY DOES GET MUCH WORSE. So then the boat starts to unleash itself and drift away. So Rich swims in the 35-degree water to get the boat. He saves it and he calls a taxi to come pick him up so he can go get his Jeep so we can hook the boat onto its trailer and go home. Beth and I leave the boat and go get some snacks. We get French fries and hot chocolate. YUM. So about 45 minutes goes by and Rich gets back with the Jeep and boat trailer. Rich and Beth hook the boat onto the trailer and then my phone rings. So while they are hooking the boat to the trailer on the back of the jeep I check my voicemail. It’s a message from Beth Byam saying she is in the hospital and getting surgery. I like get all scared and I am like GREAT, THE DAY CAN GET WORSE. So I hear Rich and Beth yell and I get out of the car to see what’s up. Right as they hooked the trailer up to the boat the boat comes undone and so does the trailer. So they are standing in 3 ft deep water that is 30 degrees. We get the boat back on to the trailer and we park the car and boat in a parking spot. We clean out the boat and put our bags back in the car. Then the Ocean Police come. They ask Rich what is going on. We explain our day and the police guy asks for registration, their boating license, and everything. He goes through a mental checklist and well we did everything right so the police guy goes away. We go back to the Marina where our boat lives. (In storage). I go to the bathroom to get changed because I get to go to Em's. And Beth and Rich clean the boat and such. At this time its about 7 45. I am all done getting changed and then I go to get out of the bathroom. And I get locked in. 10 minutes go by and I figure out how to get out. We get in the car and go home. On the way home it should have taken us 15 minutes to get to Em's. But because Rich took a wrong turn it took us an extra 45 minutes. We also hit a speed bump and Rich almost gets a flat tire. We get to Em's and my boating experience is over and done and I was so excited not to be on the damn boat.

I go downstairs of Em's house. I am thrilled to see Em Lyns Mo Meg Liz Ry and Keith. Then later on Tom Scott Kate Josh and George came. We all hung out and it was very fun. Then I called my dad to pick me Lyns Ryan and Keith up. Emily was supposed to come but she couldn’t

:( So on the way to bring everyone home we stop to get ice cream. AND BOY WAS THAT FUN! I loved hanging out the 4 of us. And it was nice of my parents to take us out. Then we brought everyone home and then I went to bed.

Today is Mothers Day. Happy Mothers Day
