I loved this when it was up for voting :D It's inspired by the Danny Kaye movie? Or possibly one of the post-Court Jester movies/tv episodes which was heavily influenced by it :D I could see Richard getting increasingly puzzled while Zedd gets frustrated that the others just don't seem to understand his 'simple' instructions :D

Yes, it was Danny Kaye in the movie 'The Court Jester'. It was the bit with "the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true" and "the flagon with the dragon" - brilliant stuff!

PS this was one of the stories I had to make a plan for as I started to get confused myself :D
