Bathtime for Ceili

Ceili just had a much-needed bath. I hate giving her baths because I still feel like she's fragile and I'm going to break her when I bathe her! I'm afraid to use the baby bath seat until she's a little bit bigger, so I have to lay her on a towel on the bathroom counter and use a sponge to wash her with water from the sink, then hold her head over

When I was that little, my parents washed me in the kitchen sink.

We got our baths in the bathroom sink... But our bathroom sinks look like they'd be so uncomfortable for her, and it gets *SO* frickin' COLD in our kitchen, that I just can't bring myself to do it. Also, I'm afraid she would slip and slide against the wet porcelain, and I'd be afraid of losing my grip on her squirmy little body. Baths are just hopelessly and needlessly nerve-wracking for me, lol. When she gains a few pounds and a few inches, bathing her in her baby seat will be easy and nice. For now, I just need to stop being such a spaz, I think.
