I hear you've got open sparring after your classes. Can anyone attend that? I haven't had any opponents besides my boyfriend recently, and I think it's affecting my style...

Yup, I do.

Open sparring IS open to anyone, but you'll probably have to bring your own equipment. I usually only have enough for the students.

Equipment's not gonna be an issue.

Gloves, shin guards, and teeth protection? Or will I need a full getup?

That's all it takes, normally. I don't really encourage people getting rough enough for anything more than that.

Well, I don't mind taking a little bit of roughing up if it means I can keep my edge. Nobody on the street's gonna hold back.
