Not a happy camper.

I have been on the phone with both router, internet, and WoW tech support. I have changed settings, deleted files, reinstalled, attempted to download from mirror sites, moved files, opened ports, made a static ip, checked settings, rechecked settings, and had someone else remotely go through my stuff. I am frustrated as hell, and STILL can't play ( Read more... )

wow, writing

Good luck with the computer troubles. (What's a collective noun for computers anyway? A tangle of computers? An frustration? Ah! I know it: A clusterfuck of computers, of course.)

Good story, but it needs another chapter. Or five.

While a clusterfuck of computers may be more accurate, a frustration rolls off the tongue a little better. I like that one.

Another chapter or five, eh? And where would you take it? *impish grin*

Who needs lessons? *blinks innocently* And I like where you went. But tsk. That's only one more chapter. Where's the other four?

Yeah. I found out the hard way. My download was 97% done, then, blip! Gone. And because I thought I'd done something to mess up the installation, I deleted it all, and have had to start over. Currently at 3% again, and crawling.

Yeah. Did that. The download ain't movin' any quicker - still 8 hours for the effing patch - but now my browser doesn't work half the time. *disgusted grunt*

*wince* DAYUM!! That's excessively buggered up, even in my experience! It's my busybody opinion that Blizz ought to give you more freebee time, seeing as how it's their goofy patches that are messing you up.

I wish we lived closer, we could send the Kittyman over to lay paws on your pc - seriously, it seems to actually work. He's fiddled with our Zebbie's internet connection a number of times and made it behave. I mean, really, just unplugging and plugging in again -- nothing that wasn't done half a dozen times before -- but somehow, when HE does it, the devices are all 'OH! It's YOU?! Well, allrighty then! Here ya go!'

Total awesomeness with the weight loss!!!! OMG! *happy (baggy) pants dance*

*mutters* If this doesn't fix it, then I may come kidnap him and drag him over just to get him to do so!

Also, your icon is the shit.

*grins* I'll tell him to have an overnight bag packed ahead of time for the kidnapping. *snirk*

Hee hee, feel free to snag the icon, if you like. It's one of the freebies over at www.jurko.net

I admit, I am an icon junkie.
