While the sutures have mostly dissolved - I have a couple stubborn little knotted strings that won't let go just yet - the incisions have healed very nicely. The scars are a little sensitive, but the swelling has subsided, the infection gone. I've been doing my exercises, and my range of motion is approaching normal. However, I have a ( Read more... )

Oh darlin'.
Remember; Treat yourself gently. Don't rush things, or push things. Stubborn darned 'taur. ;) I had had a lot of sensitivity in my leg after my surgery, and then that turned into big numb patches. To this day (2 years later) i still can't feel things in certain spots. So remember, any improvement is good improvement - it just all takes time!
As always - if you have any questions, fears, or just need an ear, i'm here. Otherwise, i'm so glad for your progress 8) Your surgery was so massive, you're doing great, considering!
