Things are beginning to calm down a little now. I have been trying to deal with some family stuff that I promise I will not bore you with here, but needless to say my time hasn't been my own in the past couple of weeks.

Couple of things I have watched in the past week that have me really wanting more.

Thank you. I just need someone to give me a kick up the behind. I still have lots of stuff that I should be doing around the house, like painting the outside, but I just can't seem to motivate myself.

I've got stuff to do in every room, as well as a back yard that looks like a bomb site, but I don't seem to be able to get myself going ... so I know what you mean about the lack of motivation. I'm sure it will all wait while we tune in to our creative sides for a bit of distraction *g*

I ticked off one of my chores today, I managed to get around to treating all my pots in the garden (which is my garden - LOL) with Vine Weevil killer before I end up losing the lot to this little parasite. I also feel accomplished because my laundry basket has only 2 items of clothing in it awaiting my attention. Yeah me. Now I just have to motivate myself to get on with the bigger jobs.

Hey sweetie, glad you're back I was starting to worry wondering where you'd disappeared to. Hope all your family stuff is sorting itself out.

Me personally, I can't see anything wrong with forcing your son to burn the DVD's but he might object, perhaps some incentive would do the trick.. cash always works.

Your Billy Idol desktops are fabulous, I don't know how you can post those and say you're muse has gone walkabouts.

What kind of pimping would you like, afraid I'm not very good at the subtle kind. Hows a post telling people to visit here or else sound?

I hadn't done anything really for weeks, then I mentioned to lilbreck how it was getting me down and she suggested Billy so I got straight on it. I think I got a little despondant after opening a Deviant Art account, and longing to be able to draw/paint. Some of the stuff over there is awesome.

All I need now is the motivation to paint the outside of my house, oh I have to go get the paint first.

Non subtle pimping is fine by me.

Apparently my son has been attempting to convert the Stargate files but 2 of them are not co-operating, so I think I have to forgive him. If he manages to stay home this week he just might get it done.

Hun, they're Billy... that's all I was looking for. I'd love if you did an LJ banner for me. If you feel moved, I was hoping to do some image map links for it intead of the usual navigation links at the top.

I'd love a lj banner. Something only 250-300 px high (don't want it to cover the whole page). I'd could go with either a banner of Gunn from AtS (actor pictures are fine) or a banner of Kim Deal, the musician who is in the Pixies and the Breeders.

Anything that will fit the majority of screen sizes without a side to side scrollbar will work.

Hope this was something along the lines that you had in mind. I would have done you a Kim Deal for choice but I couldn't find any good pictures. If you should have any laying around that I might be able to use feel free to email/link me to them.

Don't feel obliged to use it if it is not to your taste, I will totally understand, not everyone has the same taste.
