Michael Turner was one of my favorite artists. He was a major reason I started drawing. I thought to myself 'Man... if only I could do what he can do...' and I started. I loved Turner's art too (though I often felt all his characters had blue eyes; which isn't a bad thing, just an observation). I've got the trade of that Superman/Batman arc. It's fantastic stuff (I think he may have helped with the story, too). It's really sad. He was a powerful force in the industry. It's going to leave a big hole. :(
