This sounds AWESOME. I love how grapefruit tastes, it kinda sounds like it'd be a really interesting flavor to try. Is it like a balance of sugary and citrusy flavors?

They're actually more... buttery than either flavor. The sugar is hinted and the grapefruit has a nice afterbite to it, so people who don't like the bitterness of the grapefruit would probably like these, too.

Gwen actually said these were "red-velvet cupcake" good. Red velvet is pretty much the whole family's preferred flavor XD

That is interesting! Though I'm probably not exactly kitchen-savvy enough yet to try something like this, my dad might want to. He's got reign over the kitchen like crazy these days for whatever reason. I'll make a mention of it~

XD You don't really need too much kitchen-savvy, honestly. It's more about feel and enjoyment in making them, I think - well, that and having your mise èn place. Basically, if you get every ingredient ready before you start mixing ANYTHING, it's pretty hard to mess up the recipes, imo. Besides, how do you get kitchen-savvy without having a few kitchen-disasters? XDD;

But yeah, I would at least suggest you have your dad try it. Doesn't hurt, right? :3
