Okay, so while I'm attempting to recapture my escaped plot bunnies, lost muses and wandering attention on my three stories (Shaping Molten Glass, The Yang to My Yin, and Dead Fantasy) as well as the fics on both my Fanfiction accounts (Kazi-kun and NukeMyWaffle), I've decided to post a few of my older fics for your reading pleasure. Or at least, so you won't immediately kill me and I can locate at least one of my damn muses--Cid! Get out of the damn shower already and help me find some SOLDIERs!
Anyway.... ^^;
This is one of my older stories, back when I was first experimenting with crossovers. Please read it and tell me what you think. And there will be charater poll on this fic later, a few chapters later, if all goes well.

Summary: There is a city up in the far north, at the base of the Northern Mountains, a city where the renewed outbreak of Geostigma has not struck its residents...a city filled with other-worldly beauties clad in the very absence of color that gives their city its name...a city that bows to Sephiroth as their king...

"Epitomy of Solidarity"
Prolouge
Far up north, at the base of the mountain containing the Northern Cave, was the darkest city on the Planet. It was almost completely black from the dirt beneath the residents’ feet to the structures themselves. This Black City was so dubbed for another reason than just for the color of its surroundings. All the residents of the Black City wore black at all times. There was very little color in addition to all the black and each color held a specific meaning but not all the meanings were known for the people of the Black City were very secretitive.
It was thought that the Calamity and then the attack of Deepground had unearthed all this black earth and black material but it was quickly discovered that the black earth was only black because it was tainted with Jenova’s flesh, blood and power. Anyone normal who lived there would catch Geostigma and would become very sick at an alarming rate, eventually leading to death in everyone who caught it a second or even for the first time but somehow, those who were terribly infected were given a choice: stay with their family and remain where they lived to die or come and receive treatment in the Black City and be given a chance to live.
However, that second option came with a steep price, for anyone who received treatment in the Black City didn’t stay the way they were. There was something about the treatment changed them and they were no longer normal and they never wanted to leave the Black City to back home to their families, for they claimed they were already home. And it soon became clear what the Black City really was.
The City of Remnants with Sephiroth as their king.
No one is sure how Sephiroth returned after his defeat, for a second time, at Cloud’s hand but he is back and only he can keep the remnants in line. He alone permitted the offers of treatment to be made to those who are suffering from the relapse of Geostigma and the world his presents looks seductive, if only for those he has accompanying him when he makes the offers himself or only for the ones he sends in his place. Whether seductive or frightening, Cloud says that for each person to decide on their own but one thing was for certain:
The Black City isn’t going away even if Geostigma disappeared a second time.
