I'm in another one of those transition phases (which, to be honest, are probably [and hopefully] going to continue for the rest of my life). I'm questioning a lot more than I did for the last few months, which is a good feeling, even if I don't come up with any conclusions

And yeah, I think it's a wonderful idea. I've been trying vaguely to do the same for a while now. I still think we should maybe make little things for eachother, because symbols are important, but it could be as simple as a scarf or a really nice sandwich, I think.

We totally should. I'll be lonely in IC, and I always did wish I'd actually gotten to know you for reals.

For truth, let's do that. Are you coming to the various band shows we have coming up (Jazz Cafe, showchoir, etc.)? Maybe we'll see each other there.

And you're right, there's a monetary value on these things. I always think to myself, "Okay, I've gotta spend $15 on all these people, and if I get something that's only $5 I'm going to have to supplement it with something else," even if it's a fine gift on it's own.

I cannot get enough Ani. She is my heroine. I love hearing that other people listen to her, because I don't think I've met anybody at my school who does.

On the things I do: I come up with these valient efforts so that I can write about them in my livejournal. Seriously, that's probably like 85% of the reason I do them.

Annika, you're way cool. When is your family coming to Iowa again? Becuase they should.

ALAS, we aren't going back to Iowa for a long time. I mean it, we can't go to my grandparents house anymore because a few members of my family are allergic to al lthe dogs they have cooped up in that place. Honestly, it's kind of an indefinite break from the corn state. It's sad, I know, but cheer up, I want to go look at Iowa University's dance program one of these days, I`ll be sure to let you know when!
oh, and there are tons of people out there who listen to Ani. tons and tons. You really should start listening to Andrew Bird, he's on Ani's label , and he's wonderful! I dare you to!
