I've definitely loved Wordpress so far for Lint. It's working out nicely. Highly recommended, especially if you have a billion archives to keep track of, like I do.

it's definitely a very attractive prospect! the format rewards digging around in code, but really, you never have to, beyond initial configuration.

Congrats on the new domain! I use wp as my CMS for my blog and haven't had any problems with it so far~ I haven't upgraded to wp 2.2 or whatever is the newest but I've heard good things about it :D lightbox is pretty and its worth looking through the derivatives to find the perfect box..

Can't see your site design at its fullest atm since I'm on my phone but I'm sure it is something beautiful and minimalistic :)

And.. As far as lj and wp go, I haven't had any problems with the crossposting plugin that I currently use...I can get the name of it for you, unless that's not the fix you're looking for.

other than that... the plugins i run on my blog are:
akimset: http://akismet.com/
feedburner feedsmith: http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/help/wordpress_quickstart
sidebar widgets (but i think 2.2 comes with that integrated...)
