I love history and I adore archaeology... so I was terribly excited when a wee lady from the village submitted this article for the Inchture Area Spring newsletter!!!!! Even more so since, if family legend is to be believed, I'm descended from Robert the Bruce through Graham of Claverhouse!

And I find it rather neat that you are possibly descended from Robert the Bruce.

I'm so lucky, I live right in the heart of Scotland, close to the palaces of Scone and Falkland, just down the road from Glamis, Birnham, Gleneagles, St Andrews...

It is a truly beautiful part of the world... although I'm a little biased *grin*
