1. What is it about belly dancing that first attracted you to it?
The exotic costumes and the beauty of the dance. It was something so completely outside of anything I had seen before and I secretly hoped that I would one day I'd have a figure just like that....
2. Who are your top female characters?

3. Why do you love Texas?
The cowboys, the Commanche and the accent... There's something terribly mesmerising about that Texan drawl. And the beauty of the wide-open spaces there.
4. If given the opportunity to return an artifact to a Native American tribe, would you jump at it?
Actually, I did just that. I was in the Scottish Antiques and Arts Centre (just up the hill in Rait) and saw arrowheads labelled as Cheyenne from the Battle of the Little Big Horn. I immediately emailed my Cheyenne friend, who asked me to get in touch with the dealer and ask about the providence of the items - because it's so difficult to confirm stuff like that. The chap did indeed have proof of sales etc which confirmed that they had been retrieved in the 1920s during one of the few digs allowed on the site. Three Cheyenne arrowheads were duly purchased and returned to the Cheyenne people. Serle could only afford to pay for two and I couldn't, in all conscience, leave the third one sitting alone. So I bought it, and sent all three over.
5. If you could live anywhere besides Scotland, where would it be?
Montana, Wyoming or Texas... Unless there was a 6'4" viking involved, then it might have to be Scandanavia... :D
