They are adorable and insufferable all at the same time. When it's the end of the day, you realize the energy has been sucked right out of you; while it is draining from your innermost soul you don't notice. Snowshoeing!

I remember doing those journal type things in the half-blank notebooks. Mostly poetry, I think. Although I think sometimes the teacher would give us a prompt about what to write about.

Things sound crazy, but I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it so far and that you're settling into things in North Van.

woman! I thought of you this morning as I turned on the telly and saw a new song by Brian Byrne without I Mother Earth and then I flashed back to when I first heard IME with you... ahhhh Edgefest... ahhh, ten years ago. Or about ten years.

We're old.

I'm disrespecting right now, on the internet while someone else teaches my class.... the net is evil isn't it? OH, gotta go discipline!!

why would lj cuts be different on your mac....? :O

about the loud classroom... my educational psyc teacher said something interesting. i guess a lot of people think a quiet classroom is best or something, but really it's whatever works in that classroom with that teacher and taht group of students. if the teacher is comfortable with a loud environment and the students are engaged, then that's just as good as a quiet/calm environment with the students engaged.
