I had been waiting a while to update, soley because I am a lazy bum.

My kids wrote some really awesome entries in their "randomness and chaos" book. One that stuck out for me was along the lines of (and I paraphrase because I left the booklet elsewhere):

"there was a big fight today... it was really bad.  I guess there will always be fights though

it's really wonderful to hear about how much you're gaining from your teaching experience. kids are so smrt :)

aw that's so great. i remember my philosophy teacher saying something like that... how everyday he learns from students while they learn from him as well. must be a really neat experience. too bad i don't want to be a teacher. ;D
