We put Cody to sleep last Monday night.

I don't have a whole lot to say on that, or anything else.
I've been living a mundane, understimulated life. I feel
like I'm not being challenged, not using my brain at work.
Or elsewhere. Still reading, but it's not the same.
Life feels dull and long, and death and old age seem
terrifying.

Have you considered writing? I mean serious writing. It might provide a forum for you to challenge yourself and achieve some internal motivation. Something to consider.
