So apparently my friend was crazy enough to persuade me to watch Coldplay's concert in Tokyo. And we've got the ticket. I'm surprised I have to join ballot to buy their concert tix. Does every concert in Japan has to use ballot? I thought only JE does this kind of thing. I was in a dither for sometime cause I've bought plane tix. What if I couldn't ( Read more... )

Congratulation for your first concert in Tokyo Dome.
It will be fun, I believe.

If it's balloting, does the ticket still an unknown seat ticket too just like JE's ticket?

Well, they actually sell it based on area, there are A, S, SS and VIP with different price for each seating, no seat number though. But we didn't know the map of the area cause they didn't provide one. So we were gambling a bit and picked SS cause usually the one under VIP always got a good place like their seating in Singapore.

Oh I see, so there are still different selling based on the seating, unlike JE that always gives us same prices for all seat.

I believe it is going to be fun. I think SS is going to be the first stand, while VIP is the arena floor (maybe). Since they separate the seating into 4 different types. S is the 2nd stand and A maybe the 3rd stand.

I hope you have a lot of good time in Japan. I know you will.

Congrats!

I think if the demand is high, need to ballot? I know for other concerts, there is the fanclub advance balloting though.

I know what you mean! I wonder if I'll ever manage to go for Arashi's concert...
