Mini EMP

My dad can act like a Mini emp sometimes he wrecks electricals just by handleing them he's been doing it for years. Almost all of the major brakedowns of electricals in our house are to do with dad walking up to them. I have that problem with vehicles in my family. Not usually cars but like mopeds and our golfcart. That golfcart costs us more than it saves, seriously.

Hmmm, I've seen similar all too often now, tends to come down to one of 2 things, but the main cause is just one ;)

The cause... Static electricity

Watches, computers TV's hell even old video games go "poof" around these people, often (Though not always) this problem can be sorted by teaching them that cotton (rather than synthetic nylon crap) is much more comfortable on the skin (yeah yeah, tact, cotton also lasts longer ;))

If this doesn't work, get a wrist strap (available from any electronics store near you) and hook him/her up to any earthed item nearest him/her, (radiators work but wifies gonna whine at the scratches cos you gotta get down to bare metal...)

better still, GET RID OF YOUR NYLON BLOODY CARPET! (I'll put money on this being the real cause ;P

We ruled out all the things you said other than the wristband which I'll sudgest. I have to keep Tanky(my dads new computer) happy.
