this makes me want to get into the xmas spirit. i'm not all xmasy, but i looove putting up lights and the tasty beverages. just last night i visited a neighborhood in LA collectively called "candycane lane" and omg sooo many lights on sooo many houses. these people go all out.

like one house had multicolored lights on EVERYTHING. trees, bushes, house, the space in between. i really just wanted to stand in the middle of their front yard.

Oooh that must have been so pretty! I love going light-viewing, all the crazy stuff people do to decorate their houses is just great. I always start getting excited when the city starts to put lights on the trees on boulevards and at Place Ville-Marie they put up strings of lights to look like a tree that's so pretty.

I admit though, 90% of the reason why I love Christmas is because of the lights. :P 5% is the hot cocoa and the remaining 5% is the presents. Clearly I'm a shallow fool.
