that this is karma for the bombing of Pearl Harbour

would you still be saying all this if you had friends or relatives trapped in the affected areas?

Natural disasters don't choose their victims. Have a heart and give help where it's needed.

I get so mad every time I read a comment about pearl harbor. Everything else aside, you'd think Americans would consider themselves at lest even after completely destroying two civilian targets before the end of that war. But whatever, I try not to care because they are idiots and don't represent even the opinion of one country (I hope

Please don't feel bad about it; I am okay! I wasn't even near the affected areas and the main reason why I'm back home is to stop all the relatives from calling home and stressing my parents out even more.
Honestly I haven't been sleeping well since the earthquake/tsunami happened because I've been really worried about my friends nearer the affected areas... and in particular a friend in Fukushima. >< They're really short on water and electricity supply there and some people don't even have homes to live in anymore

I'm grateful that I don't personally know anyone in the most affected areas, I'm devastated enough even without it :( And thinking about some of those people and how they might have lost everything... It's horrible ._.

I haven't donated any money yet, but I'm going to. I'm just not sure should I direct it to Japan or just give to the red cross to do what they want with it, because even though the disaster in Japan is massive scale, people are suffering all over the world just as much, even if it's not a part of big scale disaster ._.

I really, really hope your friends are okay, particularly the one in Fukushima ;;___;;
