Update on Employment

Having had time to sober up (figuratively - literally was not an issue1), a quick post to clarify my last one is in order. On Friday I was offered and accepted2 the Caughlan Fellowship with the ACLU of Washington (located right here in beautiful Seattle). There is nothing else I would rather be doing for the summer and I'll be getting paid for it

Oh, congratulations, Karl! That is fantastic. Getting PAID! Wow! Oh - at the end of your time there they'll probably give you a free membership. I got one. Yesterday I got my membership stuff in the mail. I now have

1) a membership card to put in my wallet
2) a car window sticker that reflects the above - it says "card carrying member, ACLU." It might as well say "Key this car!"

I'm trying to dig up summer work here in Seattle, too (I really can't deal with anything longer than a week in Spokane). We can hang out over the summer, it'll be fun :)
