Yea I had to pay a lot for meningitis when I came to UW in 2002. Does your arm hurt a lot? I got tetanus back in 2002 and that made my arm sore!

It was interesting - I was surprised at the utter lack of soreness. For the first two hours. But even then it wasn't nearly so bad as I remember and only lasted 3-4 hours. Maybe the addition of the Pertussis vaccine helped?

I'm surprised...I paid 35 bucks at Spokane County Health District. Hall Health is a rip-off for those things.

Considering your previous history of accidental injuries involving sharp objects (remember when I moved into your apartment last summer? Ride to the hospital?), this is a worthwhile investment. Quit whinin ;)

Perhaps I err, but were the shots forced upon you by UW or some other institution? I only ask because Wake Forest was a day away from kicking me out of classes for having my tetanus vaccine out of date by a week.

Ahhh institutions, so malleable and understanding, how I love thee.

No, definitely no institutional pressures there, just a personal preference to not contract the disease.

And how odd. I understand requirements of inoculation against contagious diseases, but tetanus? I mean, unless you're coughing up rusty nails, but you've got bigger problems at that point....
