This fic gets better and better!!! I'm on the edge of my seat and can't wait for the next chapter.

The narrative moves really well and the characterisation is excellent.

Now this is getting really interesting. The Doctor's starting to remember his past companions and Rose herself is also starting to have suspicions about her current lifestyle. What's going to happen now? And, is this an alternate universe, because Rose is the same age as the Doctor Who Rose? Either she did experience the years she remembers or those memories were just implanted. And, I'm very curious how the Tardis will show up here.

Regarding Jack, I think it's interesting that he's working Mickey's job. Does this mean anything?

Hope you update again very soon. Same with Eight Years Time. In fact, can I again request an update for that. Please? :)

I'm glad you could see the memories slowly coming back for both of them. That's what I intended. And no, it's not really an alternate universe, but I won't say more. All in good time, dear reader! ;)

Nah, the job's just a job. I needed something that was easily accessible to Rose and the Doctor (scream 'plot device! plot device!') and that's the one that got lifted off the short list. No significance.

You can request one, but unfortunately I don't think it'll materialise this time. The next chapter needs some rewriting before posting, and I don't think I'll have time. But we'll see!

hey, this is good! Someone's going to get their ass kicked when the Doctor figures out what's going on. Lovely characterization of Rose, calm and logical.

Yep, Jack definitely got his own memory problems. But that'll come up in the future. Which will be soon, in terms of the storyline, hopefully the posting too!
