Fantastic chapter. The conman in Jack could be seen in this chapter. I shouldn't have expected him to just go along with what the Doctor or Rose want. He's not that naive to be so trusting.

I'm very curious about what's going to happen next. Even though I'm assuming that Jack will come around eventually, I have no idea the pair are going to do in the meantime.

Here's a question. In the show, the pair aren't officially a romantic item. Did this weird time warp or alternate universe put the two together? Or, were they a couple before all this happened?

Also... Please update Eight Years Time! I can't wait to read the next chapter on that also. ;)

No, he's not, and it's more than just two wierd people walking off the street for Jack at this point as well. They've cut a little close to home.

I'm not sure if should answer you question about the Doctor and Rose, because it will imply what's really happening. At the same time I think chapter three probably (hopefully) answered a few questions so that the answer won't say too much more, just confirm suspicions. Oh damn, here: there was no coupledom.

All right, I'm writing chapter seventeen (of Eight Years Time), which I think I'm going to need to split. In that case, chp17 is actually finished. It's been a tough week for me in works terms, though, so it won't be up until mid-next weekish.

Thank you!

I think this chapter worked very well. I'm really interested now in finding out what's going on and looking forward to the impact of the characters of finding out the truth. Whatever it is. I like that it's not obvious.

Whatever you do,not read the response of the person above! That might make what's happening a little more obvious!

But seriously, I'm glad you're interested, because at least I've caught someone's attention!

Thank you!

Wonderful. Love you dropped that they're not on Earth - very professional. Very tense through the interview with Jack, kept wanting to grab the Dr. and shake him. They're going to need Jack to get out of this. Still looking forward to the inevitable ass-kicking, and also the inevitable post-adventure "So we were married, hunh?" conversation. Good stuff.

Yeah, people seem to like that Earth reference. It was a deliberate move for several reasons, but it's good to know it made an impact.

Who doesn't want to shake the Doctor on occasion?

Still looking forward to the inevitable ass-kicking, and also the inevitable post-adventure "So we were married, hunh?" conversation. *snicker*

Thank you! :)
