Hmm, well that’s the thing about AU. Canon usually comes along and completely destroys any credibility you have. Spoilers are only general, no actual events referred to post-Parting of the Ways.

oh wow oh wow oh wow! I haven't been in t&c lately (trying to avoid spoilers before it airs in Oz) but i just checked on the off chance and wow! A great chapter of one of my fave fics! Thank you so much. It was brilliant how the doctor suddenly really became The Doctor. The writing of his dialogue made his sudden conciousness of who he was really beleivable. And cool cliffhanger too, I'm on the edge of my seat. :)

Would you believe that the Doctor's personality change was purely coincidental? When I was writing this, I had just recently got my hands on the transcript for TCI. It worked out well, but I did do a little extra editting when I noticed where it was heading. ;) I'm glad it worked out so well.

Sadly, people will have to wait a while for the next chapter because I'm not quite ready to send it to my beta, and I'm working pretty hard at the moment.

Somehow I missed it when you posted this up on LJ before - I left a review for the last chapter at Whofic.
I'm very intrigued to see how you're going to explain their being 'experimented' on together, particularly as you suggested that Rose and the Doctor were not travelling with Jack beforehand! Excellent chapter - made me think a little of the 'Better than life' bits of Red Dwarf, and then later on 'The Matrix'. Can't wait till number six!

I usually post with a fake cut to my journal if you want to find it easily. but of course whofic and ff.n are far easier ways of getting hold of it - so feel free to review wherever (I love reviews ;) )

And I am honoured at being compared to Red Dwarf (who wouldn't be)!
