Dont really care anymore

I am completely surrounded by loneliness. I am extremely upset and disappointed in someone who I used to think was the greatest person on earth. I don't understand how this could have happened... was it something I said or did? I dont understand. I feel like Ive lost a true friend. Whats worse is that I feel so ashamed that I could let this happen
