So how, please tell me, could there possibly be time to give the D/R storyline a proper build up and rip them apart again? - *sniffs and hides* Because Journey's End is 65 minutes long? I so hope you're right all the same, though.

Actually, I think the finale is supposed to be 65 minutes. So there's that. :D

And eek. I find myself gulping at ALL the Donna speculation. I just... want her to be awesome as Donna.

1. Tom?

If Tom is still off tripping the light fantastic somewhere in the bowels of Africa, it's hardly surprising her subconscious wouldn't think to send her there. Who do you run to in times of trouble? Mum.

2. Torchwood?

There are few things I can think of that would make me want to watch Series Three of Torchwood less than Martha becoming a regular.

3. Thump?

It's this weird, almost mechanical-sounding echo. I'm not sure what it's meant to portend. Undoubtedly we'll find out on Saturday.

4. Time After Time?

How evil and manipulative was that? I mean really. RTD is clearly rubbing off on the Confidential crew... although it remains to be seen whether Aqua's Turn Back Time will make an appearance.

5. Time!

The episode starts at 6.40 next week. Odds are high it will run as long as VotD (which clocked in at 71 minutes) or more like 80.

Oh, I didn't expect her to go to him -- I totally get the mother thing, especially since London is home and Africa and New York are just places where they happen to be working at the time. I was just surprised that they went to all the trouble of having Gwen call Rhys (and ask him to call her mother), then not have Martha call Tom on her cell to let him know she's fine, to tell him she loves him, whatever. Seemed an odd oversight, given how they focused so much on the engagement ring in the two S4 episodes Martha was in.

Let's hope they use that extra 20+ minutes for niceness instead of evil!

LOL, thanks. I tend to avoid vids on YouTube in favor of those I can download -- I'm totally spoiled on quality with the great vidders we have in this fandom! But you're right that I should have thought to look there; d'oh. *g*

Still, I'm hoping there will be a good one made soon that incorporates footage from the (hopefully happy!!) resolution to the storyline in the finale. *fingers crossed*

Oh, and JB's version of the song is fabulous. Yay! :D
