From the article
"Parents interviewed yesterday said they didn't mind not being able to celebrate the holiday, but they complained that it was political correctness run amok, particularly at a school where one-fifth of the student body is nonwhite and the website is in both English and Chinese."
I would have rephrased it as "political correctness run amok with reckless abandon." And they aren't kidding about the website: http://www.newton.mec.edu/underwood/. What's sad is all of the links on the front page lead to the Chinese site. There really isn't any useful English content. I can only imagine the five parents that complained about the English only site. I swear, this country needs to adopt an official language.
