I'm really pleased you like what Iv'e done with this au world. :) I did at one point consider not having any demons/supernaturalelements in the fic and have everyone just as human but I'm glad I decided to include the supernatural side as I think it makes things more interesting:)

I'm so glad you gave the story a chance despite feeling uncomfortable about it containing child abuse.

I love John 's character in the show and even though I don't think he always made the right choices when raising the boys, I believe that he always had the boys best interest at heart and was just trying to keep them safe. :)
