I'm very pleased you enjoyed reading it! It was a lot of fun to write, even if I still disliked the ending. Oh, well.

“Thanks, Echizen, I owe you!” he called, grabbing the bag from his hand as he raced out the door. “I’ll be home late tonight so don’t wait up for me!”
“Che. As if we would,” Ryoma muttered.
YOU. This sentence is sheer genius. Ryoma is pure snark, and pure Ryoma. I AM IN LOVE.
Later that night as they snuggled in bed, Ryoma suddenly remembered something. “We have to let Momo-senpai inside,” he said sleepily.
Really though KC, I never knew I could giggle so much.
I just noticed a typo, though ---> Really, he didn’t mind Mom as a friend but Ryoma had not signed up for a second roommate when all he needed was one. It should be 'Momo' there ;)
“Don’t throw up!” Ryoma warned. “I’m the one who’s going to have to clean it!” God. How you do this, KC, I will never know. This is sheer genius. I am in awe. Really I am ( ... )

I had a lot of fun trying to write this story, but I'm rather surprised the humor went over as well as it did. Normally, my idea of humor is kind of dry and corny. But Ryoma brings out the snark in all of us, I guess!
Yeah, I still hate the ending. For the longest time, I couldn't figure out how to end it and so the fic just kept growing and growing until I figured if I didn't chop it off soon, it would end up taking over the world or something. So I went for a crappy, cheesy ending that failed badly. The Omake was supposed to make up for that but I wasn't entirely happy with it, either. -_-
Well, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, at least. Not sure it's a 10/10 but I'll take your compliments because I'm shameless like that. :D This fic been hanging over for a long time and I was relieved when I finally posted it. If I had to edit it one more time, I was going to scream. And now, I must go fix that silly typo. Grr.

Otherwise, it was a fine read.

I guess I've never thought of 'Buchou' or 'Echizen' as formalities but titles and names first, and terms of endearments later on. It's what they call each other but I also think it's how they say it that matters. That's just the way I saw it. At the same time, you do have a point and it's something I'll consider. :)
Thanks for letting me know what you thought!
