Take my advice.
Don't.
I had doubts even before I saw it, but decided to go when friends invited me because I didn't want to spend my entire weekend sitting alone watching TV.
Shoulda gone with the doubts. Or convinced them to see another film instead. Because that's two hours of my life I won't get back.
I found nothing redeeming about the film whatsoever. And here's a telling comment: I, who dislike horror films (or films about traditional horror-film characters/creatures), found myself laughing at some of the supposedly "horrible" things that happened. Either I'm getting really jaded, or the concept of a severed hand firing a gun just seemed so ridiculous I had to laugh at it. I admit, I did avert my eyes at some of the yuckier bits (once you've seen one guy's abdomen ripped open and intestines flying everywhere, you've seen 'em all), but in general, there was very little that was actually scary, because it was all so damn predictable.
The characters were not engaging. The storyline was marginal at best, and could've been so much better.
In short, "The Wolfman" is a waste of a talented cast and superior CG technology.
Give your $10 to Haiti instead.
