Post-Surgery Update

Sorry for no news since I went into the hospital on May 6th - I forgot my LJ password!

My surgery started about 4 hours late ( 6 p.m. rather than 2 p.m.) and became pretty complex.

Sounds like a good result for a bad situation; I am so glad to hear you're back home and things are going well.

This sounds moderately encouraging. I'm glad the surgery went well and that the cancer you first had is all gone. As for the chemo/radio stuff, from what I've seen of it in friends it can be very wearing, especially in the later stages, so be very kind to yourself throughout.

I'm so glad to hear much of the news is good news! I'm sure there will be some hurdles left if chemo will be involved, but you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like the surgeons did a good job and with a little additional upkeep, you should be doing a lot better.
