Wow, I've got a real problem with that campaign. It's very clear that justice is being applied in a very racist fashion in Jena, but that still can't justify a call to "drop all charges against the five young men awaiting trial". Nothing I've read suggests that the six men charged in the beating Justin Baker weren't guilty of the crime, only that the charge of attempted murder was unduly harsh.
Apparently, there have been related crimes of battery and assault against black men in Jena which haven't been prosecuted. By all means, put pressure on the town's law enforcement to bring charges against them. If the alleged assailants in the Baker case had been framed, I could see calling for their acquittal. But since that doesn't seem to be the case, this campaign seeks to make a right by adding together two wrongs.
