Oooh! Radishes! I came across a recipe recently for a frittata with radish leaves, which was quite good -- though it wants a pretty sizable bunch of the leaves, so if you've got lots of those, that would be useful. And I also rather like the radishes themselves.

Some of the herbs sound good, too -- suzimoses is off on vacation this week, and so having semi-random fresh herbs is a nice incentive to get me to actually cook for myself rather than having sandwiches or otherwise making do.

What kind of fennel? The bulby kind or the frondy kind?

As you know, it'd be a bit of a trek to make the trade on these, but leave me on any garden filter so I can enjoy it vicariously, anyway :)

Heh. I'm in the same boat. Tips for what things are fun & tasty to grow are nice, but I can't actually *share* very well...

Same with me.
My family's habits are regretably very far from the slow food ideal, but I do also love to think about it!

It's probably not worth it for you to send me anything here in Florida, but I love hearing about gardening, so feel free to leave me on that list if you like.
