Ethan awoke to the sun streaming down into his face, wincing at the bright white light he turned onto his side away from it, only to see a form beside him. He long dark hair spilled over the pillow, her full lips slightly ajar. He couldn’t help but to reach his hand out and run his thumb over her mouth. Her eyes moved back and forth beneath their lids and he wondered what she was dreaming about, he hoped it was of him.
Looking over at the clock he hesitantly got out of bed, took a shower and dressed. When he came back he stood on her side of the bed, pulling out his wallet, about to pull out some money for her to call a cab before he looked over and saw her bags on the floor. He forgot that she had moved in with him last night, she didn’t have to leave like she usually did, but it was time for him to go. Sitting on the side of the bed he ran his finger through her hair. He wanted to wake her to say goodbye, but he probably wouldn’t want to leave if he did. Ethan did however, leave his favorite shirt and CD on the bedside table for her.
Getting up he shrugged on his jacket and picked up his bags going outside to hop into his own cab. He was heading for the airport to catch his flight, starting his month long tour of Europe.
