I'm one of the few people that will back you up on that pew2 joke. I was hanging with Katie Mac last night and got a call from Luke. Heard you're in the wedding. That'll be good fun. I'm gonna be playing guitar at some point, and they're trying to get Kizbot in there as well. Bachelor party, perhaps?

As for group mixers... are you looking for activities or just something to get people talking?

yeah, i hope bachelor party, only thing is that i may not be back in town in time for it. my training block ends on the friday before the wedding on saturday. im in the process of seeing whether or not i pull some strings though.

mixers... either one. pretty much anything to loosen everyone up. i guess conversation would probably work better. like telling a kev story or something.

Some of these sound lame, I'll admit, but they always seem to work with Bible studies I've led.

*Bring a big bag of m&m's and have everyone take a handful. Then go around and make everyone say something about themselves for each m&m they got. You can do the same with a roll of toilet paper based on squares.

*Hi-lows: Simply have everyone give their high and low for the week.

*Never have I ever: works particularly well with larger groups (10+). Someone starts in the middle of a big circle of chairs with people in them. The person says something like, "never have I ever ran a 10k." Then everyone that has run a 10k has to move to a different chair. There's one less chair than people so the last person remaining is chairless and has to start the next never have I ever. It's good for loosening everyone up. But it's probably kinda lame with less than 10 people.
