[Evelyn has her baseball bat, but there's really no telling how much good it will do with madmen running about the mansion halls. She left her room immediately, because staying in just isn't her style, and now that she's found trousers that she likes to wear, this seems the perfect occasion to don them.

Warily, steeling herself not to jump at every stray echo, she makes her way down to the tea room and opens the door.]

[Miguel turns, his sword turning with him. It lowers once he sees who it is, though.

I haven't seen anything too out of the ordinary, either, but I'm worried. I didn't want to stay in my room for this entire thing, but what if someone comes by? If someone I know is looking for me?

[ Not too long after Miguel makes his announcement, Jade heads down toward the tea room. She had been holed up in her (now gross, grungy, and totally not as awesome anymore) bedroom for most of the day trying to decide on what to do.

NOT ANYMORE. Once she gets there she kicks open the tea room door with her foot, rifle in hand, and waves it at Miguel. ]

[Perhaps it is wrong to be this happy to see a child wielding a gun, but in all honesty he feels safer with her here.]

[He drops his sword and sweeps her up in a hug, lifting her slightly off the ground in the process. Once he drops her, he seizes her shoulders and leans in seriously.]

[Miguel nods.] Just don't touch anything rusty and we should all be fine. Seems these...cabinet thingies work like the closets did. We can just hide out here until it's over.

[Sirius has been roaming the place with James, but he decides to take a slight detour from that now and see what is happening in the tea rooms.

He notices Miguel there, and waves with a friendly smile.]

Ah, amigo!

[Miguel waves, his mood having lightened significantly with each newcomer. Even if one of them is dangerous (he is aware of the possibility) it is still better for them to be together. After all, it can't be too hard to restrain someone for the duration of the event if need be.]

Are you well? No puncture wounds yet, I hope?

No, nothing like that... I have to say, though, I don't fancy the way the halls and the rooms look.

[There's more that he doesn't fancy, but that's just the first thing that came to mind.]

Something feels off, you know? I haven't the foggiest clue who the blokes are who are trying to kill us, and that doesn't sit well with me.

[He looks put out for a brief second, then he's back to smiling.]

I'm keeping an eye out, though. I won't go easily, if I have to go at all.
