I got hired at NRCYes, my friends, National Research Council. I am excited, because none of the other coop schmisics people (physicists) have as good of a job. I will be analysing sandwich composite material for aircrafts at Insitute for Aerospace Research, which is so cool and sounds interesting ( Read more... )

I have other two COOP job interviews lined up, both before my exam tomorrow. Both for NRC (National Research Council). One in like 3 hours, and the other one tomorrow at 1, and this one lasts for an hour. My thermo final is at 2 tomorrow. Two of them, actually. Tomorrow and Wednesday. I am excited, because it's about time I got a job. lol

Reasons why I like physics labs over any other science labs:

• No messy chemicals to work with
  
• Lots of cool gadgets like lasers, optical prisms, oscilloscopes, and MRI machines
  
• The fact that you don't have to wear that ugly lab coats and so called "eye protection"

I just came back from Stone Road Mall with my sister. Lots of changes since the last time I was here. I remember the new Sony store and Old Navy, but I don't remember Japanese food place in the foot court, or Jacob connexion beside the old navy, or absence of Zellers from the mall ( Read more... )

I heard a ground-breaking news a couple of days ago: My sister is going to Japan to work, and move there permanently! She is leaving next Thursday, so basically the last chance to see her would be this coming up weekend. Dilemma!
