BTW, my mom has told me that when she was at Wellesley (class of '63, though she met and married my dad in 1962, so this presumably would have been 1959-1961), she and her dorm-mates kept a "N.U.R.D. list" on the wall by the telephone; it was a list of men with whom they'd had bad dates, whom they wished to warn their friends away from. The acronym was for "No Use Returning, Dear."
