Oooh, I really enjoyed this! I love the noir vibe of it, and Lee and Kara's tension is so tangible. I really need to know what's going on between them and who killed Zak. So intriguing!

OMG! OMG! OMG! This is so good. It works perfectly. Loved the noir vibe you have going on. I was going to say (once again) that you absolutely must continue this, but then I went back and saw the "PG - this part" and it helped to soothe me. But now, I'm dying to know how soon can we hope to see more of this. You left us with so many questions about the exact nature of the backstory here as well as where this mystery will take them. Kudos!!!!!

Ooooooooohhh.....oooh.

This is many things that I like. Like tense, and atmospheric, and hot.

I really like the section outside the bar where the noise comes back in, it's cinematic and vivid and the kind of sense detail that I really dig.

I also love the strain between them, and the different ways in which it manifests itself.

I am looking forward to you coming back to this :D
