Okay, I'm taking a survey to find out if a certain word is regional or what.

Please comment if you know what a housecoat is.

I know what a housecoat is, but I've always called it a housedress because that's what my Mom calls it. I don't know if that's a northeat, southeast, or general term.

I used the word last night and Jon didn't know what it was, so I decided to see. Thanks :) I think housedress might be more southern.

He'd never heard of a housecoat? That's almost as bad as Greg having never hear dof a 24 hour quiet dorm.

We were over at Greg's parents house last weekend and we were telling them about how culture shocked Jon was at Knox and how funny we thought it was :-)

Yeah, hopefully now he understands a little better. I thought it was funny how he kept making fun of how people were dressed. You should have heard him in Bergners when we were trying to shop.
