I want to say more, but the play I saw tonight, "How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents," starred Luis from Sesame Street as the girls' papi. I didn't realize this till afterwards, when I actually read the playbill

I read the book...it was fantastic!!!

Yay! I read it a few years ago, so I was excited for the group trip. It was ten or so women from work. I also was surprised how much Spanish I've recalled/taken in by being surrounded by my coworkers talking about everyday things. It's weird; I can't recall any of the language when I need to speak it on the spot (aside from the very basic conversational stuff), but I understand a lot of it.

I'm still sort of star-struck by the fact that I saw Luis from Sesame Street doing a dramatic role. Heh. I loved him. And Gordon, and Maria...
