Thanks! I wrote this on the train and rereading it here, realize it sounds kind of whiney and slackery. Which I guess it is; I am willing to work my butt off, but I would like something in return. If it's not good pay, then let it be job satisfaction.

no! it doesn't sound whiney & slacky at all, plus, the posts from getting home at 9 pm and whatever, i've always thought they had odd expectations from employees (but i whine about my part time job). there needs to be SOME kind of "perk" like you said, good pay or job satisfaction.

It's just an intense place. Sometimes I leave at 6 or 6:30, but when I do, I fall behind.

I think if I were paid more, about 20 grand more, I'll be cool with it all. Mostly :)
