Water is the devil!

I just bought this phone! Why would I wash it!? Damn that little 'cell phone' pocket on the leg of my pants. Now it's turning on, but it won't recognize the SIM card even though the card works in other phones.

e.e leave it off for a while take teh battery out and take a hairdryer to it (on cool)

Been there, done that. It turns on, but doesn't recognize the SIM card. The card works in my other (backup, but crappy) phone, and I don't have another SIM card to try out with this phone. I suspect that whatever circuits connect to the SIM card are fried, but I'm going to try again in a day or two.
