OMGz! It feels good to be 'home'! And by home, I mean, "back on my computer." I have all my email accounts forwarded to my Gmail account so I could easily get my mail while in Kansas and I've fallen in love with the interface. I'm seriously considering dropping Outlook. If it weren't for the Calendar and Address Book synchronization with my PDA ( Read more... )

Indeed, the Florida living style is rather rediculous. You've seen my house before. It took some serious getting used to compared to what I had lived in.

In Virginia especially, our house had 3 floors, so pretty much if I wanted privacy, I could just hide in the basement.

Florida isn't all about fun and games. Some of us have to live and work in the houses we live in. I spend more time in my bedroom than in any house I've ever lived in. Working is hard when you can hear the TV (which is always on!) in every part of the house.

My dream house will have at least a dedicated AV room, a study/office, a den, a computer room, and a basement, lol.

I remember when you would knock the gmail interface.

It is nice, but the mobile interface confuses the heck out of me!

I don't remember knocking the Google interface. I have (and still do) knock all the other interfaces (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.). In the past, I've said that I don't like webmail b/c it takes too long to wait for each screen refresh, but with broadband, and Google's interface not having to completely reload every time, it's very responsive. I like searching my mail. Mail search within Outlook is painful.
