Take away my geek license right now! I just spent 40 minutes trying to diagnose why BeyondTV would not load on my computer. I was almost to the point of restoring from a Ghost image when I finally discovered by accident that the window was opening on my secondary monitor (which was turned off). *sigh* [going to bed now]

What's good for video editing? I currently use VirtualDub for simple recompression of videos, mostly compressing tv shows and taking out the commercials. Is there another, better, simple video editor? What's good for more complex video editing? Keep in mind that I run Windows XP.

Everyone needs to come to the UCF Library (I know some of you have never even been in there before) and vote for my department's display board. As you enter the Library, the displays are set up on the right. My department (Audio/Visual and Media Services) made display #9.

If anybody cares, the Computer Lab in MAP 110 has recently gotten new computers to replace their aging Windows NT computers. And suddenly, there's people using them. I've never seen another person in here when they had the old, almost-unusable computers.
