You should try using brass or copper with silver. I have a bunch of earrings where both metals are used and I love them. I'm big into Jody Coyote's jewelry. Just a thought. If I was talented enough, or had the time I've love to learn how to work with metal so I can make my own earrings. I love organic looking stuff. (there may just be a little bit of a hippie in me yet)

Hmmmmm... What I see on her site (which is understandably bare) looks an awful lot like some of the things I do. You might be on to something, m'dear.

I like copper too. Especially with turquoise :) As long as I can get it coated (so it doesn't oxidize/turn you green), I could totally work with that.

I was actually thinking of asking for a drill press for the holidays... that would mean I could do more sheet metal work, and I love working with copper sheet.

And I had no idea you were into jewelry ;-) I might just have to indulge you at some point.
