Yeah, it figures that I'd travel about 8,000 miles to start reconnecting with people from home, but it all just makes for more interesting stories that way, and isn't that what's truly important? In any event, I'll have to keep an eye on your journal as well from now on, if you don't mind, but it's always nice to hear from people no matter how long it's been since I've talked to them. I'll be back in the U.S. on July 8, you know.
I don't think I've heard anyone ever use the word "cheerio," but "cheers" is a common one. Cheers.
