2006 is here, and i'm ready to start off fresh. this journal also turned three years old today...i can't believe i still have this thing. i don't believe in "resolutions" so much as i believe in lists of things i plan to do. but, first in retrospect...

it's 4:30 am and i can't sleep because of these stupid chest pains that i have no idea where they came from or why they are there.

i'd do almost anything to just be able to sleep right now.

bah!

i'm quite eager for this year to end, but first...

today...i woke up super late. i think my body needed it. i've been pushing myself too hard lately...and school's over with! i don't know what i do that drains me out other than thinking too much. whatever.

today was much better than the past few days before it.

got lunch with paloma and exchanged gifts. she got me a nice box-o-chocolates and volume 3 of kanji de manga, which will be extremely helpful for me in learning/remembering kanji. she also gave me a bottle of plum wine that she wasn't too fond of. we went to a chinese buffet place in ( Read more... )

christmas was alright. christmas eve was better than last christmas eve. the family came over my house. i ate so much. christmas day wasn't as good as last christmas day, as i pretty much spent it alone. santa was good to me, at least. got a home theater system with a dvd player and everything, plus some money from relatives. my parents ( Read more... )

i am going to japan this summer!

...unless the program gets cancelled for whatever reason, of course. we'll see what happens, but this is probably the biggest life-altering news concerning me that i can remember.

the semester is finally over.

i made it through alive.

i can finally rest. but those who know me already know that i'm going to keep myself occupied with something, whatever that is.

this man knows no peace. i wonder if i'll ever...
